I was thought of before I was born. I am more important than money. If money was more important than me I would not exist. There are days when I wake up I have no money.

About This Quote

In the year 2002, I was a young boy struggling to make ends meet. My mother was a single parent and she worked hard to provide for me and my two siblings. We had a single bedroom with a double bed and living room with a couch that could fit six people comfortably. We were poor but we were happy.

Our living conditions were not ideal but they suited us nicely. In those days, I didn’t know what money was because my parents never wasted any of it on things we would need in our lives. When I was eight years old, my father died from cancer and left behind a small amount of money as well as a note saying that he wanted me to use it for an education and that I should never be poor again.
